Peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified

Lymph node MGG (1000×)

This imprint of lymph node shows a massive involvement by peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified. The size and appearance of tumour cells is variable. The neoplastic lymphocytes are large, pleomorphic, cytoplasm is abundant, basophilic and often vacuolised (green arrows). Nuclear chromatin is fine, nucleoli are visible (yellow arrows) and nuclear irregularities are observed (red arrows).

Pleural fluid MGG (1000×)

The neoplastic lymphocytes are large to monstrous and very pleomorphic. The cytoplasm is abundant, strongly basophilic, often vacuolised (green arrows) and irregular (yellow arrows).
