Marked agglutination of erythrocytes – due to the presence of cold antibodies – makes description of the blood smear impossible.
Numerous erythroblasts of different ages, some of them are macrocytic, other are normocytic (erythropoiesis is of macro-normoblastic character). A promyelocyte is marked by a yellow arrow, a neutrophilic myelocyte is marked by a red arrow, band cells are marked by cyan arrows, and a segmented eosinophil is marked by a black arrow.
